RED RICHARDS was a pianist of the Mainstream style, who played with traditional Jazz and Blues musicians from Sidney Bechet to Mezz Mezzrow to Eddie Condon to Skeets Tolbert! Charles “RED” Richards was a charter member of the Saints and Sinners Jazz Band. His career lasted over 60 years, as Richards played up to his passing in 1999 when he died on the bandstand.
